CFSI Jumps to CMRT 4.01 Forms to Correct Errors
The Conflict Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI), an initiative of EICC and GeSI, released a new Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) version today: CMRT 4.01.
The new CMRT 4.01 form comes just a few months after CFSI released the CMRT 4.0 form on April 30 this year.
CMRT 4.01 makes the following changes, none of which affect the function of 4.0:
- The new CMRT 4.01 forms include an updated smelter list.
- Declaration: requests additional information even when checker has been completed (i.e., message in cell I3 does not turn off)
- Smelter list: tungsten turns red if the last two options from the pick list are chosen
- Checker: bottom three rows only turn green if tantalum turns green
