    PPWR Explained

Your Guide to PPWR Reporting Requirements, Timelines, and Data Collection

    Tuesday, November 17, 2026

PPWR is here. Is your packaging ready?

The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) became generally applicable on August 12, 2026. It replaces much of the long-standing Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD) and establishes new requirements for recyclability, substances of concern, recycled content, labeling, package minimization, and technical documentation.

Because many PPWR implementation details are still developing, many manufacturers, particularly electronics manufacturers and companies with complex global supply chains, face the challenge of determining what packaging data will be required and when the related compliance obligations will apply.

    What You'll Learn:

Hosted by GreenSoft Compliance Analyst Mitchell Gilbert, this webinar provides a clear breakdown of:

    • Current PPWR obligations
    • Upcoming compliance timelines and milestone
    • Supplier and packaging data expectations
    • Documentation and technical file considerations
    • Practical steps manufacturers should take now to prepare their packaging, documentation, and supply chains

PPWR is already reshaping packaging compliance in the EU. Understanding the requirements and early preparation can help organizations identify data gaps, engage suppliers, and prepare for the new regulatory landscape. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.
